Stop unwanted catalogs. Save the environment.

I have reduced junk mail by opting out of junk mail. All of a sudden this holiday season, I began to get about five catalogs per day. Thanks to NPR and Catalog Choice  I am opting out of catalog delivery now. Since the companies spend about .80 on each catalog, they should be happy to stop sending them. My post office worker will be happy, too.

I don’t know about you, but I’m battening down the buying hatches because my internal financial barometer is starting to feel like it did in the mid 70’s when the interest rate on our home mortgage was 11.75% (no, young readers, that is NOT a misprint.) Anyway, if you want to get fewer catalogs, listen and click.
