It ain’t over til its over department

I was struck by how the MSM was ignoring the caucus in Texas which will determine the fate of 67 delegates. Here is what I found out.

The Democratic race in Texas has a two parts. The outright election and the caucus. In the regular election par of the primary, Clinton, with 51% of the vote, got 65 delegates. Obama, with 48% of the vote, got 61 delegates. The caucus voting got many more participants than expected, and so the counting is still going on as of March 5th at 6:05 p.m CST. There are still 67 delegates to win. With 40% of the precincts reporting, Obama has 56% of the votes to Clinton’s 44 %.
