In the last month, I have spoken to three pro photogs, one of whom is a photojournalist, and when the subject of flickr came up, so did their dander. From a joke  (I am an amateur photog who was an early flickr pro user and a proponent of flickr for anyone who doesn’t work with photos in print) about doing an intervention for me to get me off of flickr, to out and out anger at how flickr was gutting the market, to acceptance but disgust that pros often show toward amateurs in any area, it is a flashpoint for photographers.
