Hmmm. Rosemary D’Amour reviews Huffington’s new book on blogging, but though I haven’t read it, I smell a repackaging of ideas. According to the review, Huffington notes that blogging is the biggest thing in popular journalism since Tom Paine’s Common Sense. And contributor Nora Ephron discovers that the best part of blogging is the conversation. Yet, Amy Gahran’s post in tidbits from October reviewed the now antique, by web time standards, Cluetrain manifesto, and linked to several good slideshow repurposing of those ideas. I’ve got to read the Huff book, but from this review, I’d say it sounds like someone got on the cluetrain but that train has left the station.
