Kristy Noem made the news as excerpts from her autobiography were shared across social media. The bizarre account of how Noem took an untrained dog hunting, only to find it didn’t know how to hunt and then letting it out of the car on a farm where the chickens were loose — spoiler alert — the dog chased and killed a chicken — tell us more about Kristy Noem as someone who doesn’t know much about dogs and farm animals than it does about how brave, wise, and decisive she is.

She then tells how she killed her family’s “nasty and mean”, and un-castrated and “disgusting, musky, rancid” male goat. She took him to the gravel pit as well. It took two shots, but she put him down, too.

If she was trying to impress Trump, that later one might have back-fired as the news has been full of accounts to Trump’s flatulence and bad body odor from people who are in the courtroom in NY with him. Anyway, I don’t think her personal disclosures will help her political image.
