We need to get about 2 – 3 bags (2 cu ft size) of garden soil to add to the various beds and pots. (Sam said she would get these) and then we need to put the soil in the boxes so we can plant this year.

Here’s what we have: herbs growing in lower box. We should add to and transplant the herbs to our liking this year. Sam can you put some of your basil back there? I will get rosemary and oregano — any other herbs we need? I will identify what ones are growing there already.

Let’s label the box closest to the fence as “1”. It is ready to plant. The middle one is “2” and the other is “3”.
I will put lettuce and onions in “3” for a month or so until it is too hot for them. That leaves box “2” for more eggplants, or some other medium crop

This pot needs soil and then it will be good for a tomato plant. There are three spots for tomatoes where they can grow big and not shade the other veggies. I suggest we each use one of the big containers, and have Elbert prune them for us.

These two need soil and will be good for two tomato plants. If you think we need more tomatoes, we could put a plant or two in box 1. What do you think?
