CNet put out this video. It starts out with a teaser about an Apple netbook but becomes a discussion about whether the end of news printed on paper will be harmful to democracy and the public sphere. It rehashes some of the continuing questions about news delivered electronically in a sort of amusing way. But this kind of talk always makes me think of the clever and prescient EPIC 2014 which has been updated to include the iPod and is now EPIC 2015. I stuck that video in this post, too, in case you haven’t seen it. The original EPIC 2014 came out in 2005, and predicted google docs and gmail.com, so while it is speculative, it isn’t ridiculous…
