How NYT is emphasizing mobile

The New York Times is blocking employee access to its desktop homepage for a week (Poynter)  …New York Times employees in its headquarters will be blocked from accessing its desktop homepage in order to emphasize the importance of mobile…In a memo to staff, NYT says: “More than half of our traffic to The Times is on mobile. We’re hopeful that this temporary change will help spur us to make mobile an even more central part of everything that we do.”
