US not even in the top 10
Iceland has the fewest barriers to Internet freedom, according a recent study ranking countries based on obstacles to access, limits on content and violations of user rights. Iceland scored just six out of a possible 40 points. (The lower number of points, the higher level of Internet freedom.) (via The 10 Countries With the Most Internet Freedom)
